The aging, textured and sometimes dilapidated silos peppered along the Lachine canal of Montreal are symbols of the industrial heritage that the city is renowned for. Rusted structures, disintegrating concrete, towering columns and cavernous interiors are all part of the architectural fabric of a previous age.
