Heritage building on reclaimed wood

One of my favourite pastimes is digging around reclaimed and salvaged material yards and antique stores to retrieve worn painted construction, barn and decorative materials onto which I paint the landscapes from where they came. There is a beauty in coming full circle, in preserving material heritage by promoting its conservation and beauty through contemporary painting.
