Honeycomb mansard

A traditional home in Vieux-Longueuil, Québec. The honeycomb pattern evolved from a desire to add stenciling to the shaded side of the building and tie in the gables, windows and porch, leaving the side wall clear to define the mansard roof, evocative of its colonial french roots.
