Past and present

As an architectural conservationist, I'm eternally fascinated with the contrast between old and new buildings, and how the latter succeeds, or not, in integrating with the former. 

This juxtaposition in Terrebonne, Québec, connected by a walkway, evokes the pointed rooflines of both buildings reaching for the spirit world and the relationship between the volumes and shapes, albeit in different materials and styles.
