Montreal, the city of 650 churches, has elaborate spire work and intricate stone carvings on places of religious worship in every neighborhood which never cease to surprise and astound. This church in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district pierces the sky with its crenelated stonework and crosses on each tower, and is a testimony to the centuries of craftsmanship the city has witnessed, and which is now trying to revive.
